Since in 1979

It’s been 45 years since Tom Hemenway, aka Tommy Tunes, started Autosounds of NH. His humble beginning started in 1979 when he installed radios in cars – AM/FM stereo, cassette player and 8-track – going car dealer to car dealer. Eventually the business acquired a store front and grew over time to include more sophisticated audio systems, remote starters, CarPlay and other aftermarket systems. For several years, you could even purchase cellular phones (remember the “bag phone”?)

We have been fortunate to work beside some pretty amazing people, including Super-tech Sean and Danny Snook, Autosounds legends. And we’ve met some really nice people and helped them to better enjoy their car/truck/bus/side-by-side/classic car, etc.

So after 45 years, we’ve decided to “retire” Autosounds. As Tommy would say, “It’s been a good ride”. This isn’t a final goodbye, however, as we’ll still be at 61 Epping Road in Exeter making our sister store, EZ Bikes and Scooters (www.ezbikesandscooters.com) bigger and better. You’ll find the same great staff ready to help you find an electric bike or scooter just right for you!
